Retro Chat Episode 17: WWF One Night Only
On September 20, 1997 the World Wrestling Federation returned to the United Kingdom for only our second UK only pay per view. Entitled “One Night Only”, it was to feature the UK’s own British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith defend his WWF European Champinoships against the “Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels in the main event as well as having Bret “Hitman”Hart defend the WWF Heavyweight Championship against the Undertaker in a SummerSlam 1997 rematch.
